Will work for a U.S. based manufacturer of industrial machinery and robotic systems at their Statesville, North Carolina Division with responsibility for operating as a member of the technical sales support team to deliver a best in class customer experience while working directly and indirectly with customers, sales and internal functional departments. Will be responsible for researching, specifying and quoting the best auxiliary equipment and system solutions while also assisting Sales in closing and processing orders. Will also support internal departments as a technical resource.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work with customers, Customer Service Representatives, Regional Sales Managers and Engineering daily to clarify design data information requirements for quotations and orders.
Obtain order details (both commercial and technical).
Enter sales orders using current systems, following clean order policies.
Communicate order status to customer.
Support both the Engineering and production departments in Sales Order related activities as needed.
Manage multiple projects.
Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Knowledge of process equipment is preferred.
Detail oriented with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to interface with customers directly in a professional manner.
Analytical and problem solving ability with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Ability to conduct product training and present technical presentations to professional societies and customers.
Ability to identify and implement application support tools for sales, applications and customer service.
Experience in AutoCAD or SolidWorks required.
