The Controls Engineer is responsible for Modifying and troubleshooting all equipment using company standard compliant software. They will be responsible for Process Control and process automation in a continuous process manufacturing plant. Duties will include Development, programming, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC’s, instrumentation and control systems.
Develop and ensure deployment and support the users’ network and will use systems to perform engineering tasks and electrical troubleshooting.
Modify equipment programs ensuring safe and efficient operation
Provides production and operational support as needed and collaborates with other engineering and support functions within the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree required in PLC or Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Automotive industry.
Minimum 5 years in PLC, Electrical and/or Controls Engineering.
Proficient with technologies including but not limited to, Siemens S7/S5, HMI Software and Servo Systems.
