Field Service Engineer – Processing Equipment
My client is a leading manufacturing of plastic processing and automation equipment. They offer turn-key solutions to the packaging industry for food, cosmetics, retail and medical applications as well as material handling solutions. My client is very stable, been in business for over 60 years and still considered a strong and growing organization. They are owned by a private investment group which allows them to be very well funded and are investing money back into the company for new equipment and new technologies.

Your role within this organization:
will be to support the company’s customers in North America, by providing after sales support, training, troubleshooting, and assisting in the resolution of technical issues. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction on new equipment startups and repairs on existing lines. Using electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical knowledge, you will quickly troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve with on-site technical support.
To be successful in this role:
Experience with capital equipment for manufacturing or similar is ideal.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
Candidates will be evaluated based on a combination of training, education and experience within mechanical and electrical environments.
Experience providing on-site customer support for processing machinery. You should have a balanced technical aptitude in the following disciplines; electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
This position will require you to work independently and the ability to travel to customer facilities to provide hands on support.
