Seeking a hands on Service Tech Guru to manage an expanding technical service/support group responsible for maintaining robotic/automated machinery in NY, NJ, and PA. Great Growing Company with Great Culture! The chosen candidate will provide the highest quality technical support and customer service in a timely manner. Independent judgment relating to resolving problems and issues will require system diagnostics, troubleshooting, identification and resolution of hardware and software technical issues and malfunctions. Also will be involved in start-up of newly installed equipment as required.

Management duties will include scheduling, site maintenance, training, submitting work logs and condition reports, with oversight of field personnel. This role will require routine and/or urgent on-site response for maintenance and emergencies as necessary.

Local Candidates Only -must live in close proximity to New York City as relocation is not offered for this role. 

Required education:
  • Associate’s Degree preferably in Technology or related field
Required experience:
  • Previous Hardware and Software experience in Automated or Robotic Machinery, Elevator, Medical Machinery, or similar
  • Controller Software PLC, Simatic Step 7, or Similar 
  • Ability to travel regionally during scheduled and on-call work hours
  • Managerial Experience
