Forklift Maintenance and Repair Tech—steel service center, Houston, Texas
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years forklift maintenance and repair from a reputable repair facility.
Must have hydraulic troubleshooting as well as repair skills.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair both Diesel and Propane fuel systems.
Must have troubleshooting and repair skills on all brake systems, hydraulic, air and or air over hydraulic.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair of automatic transmissions.
Must be able to use a mig and stick welder. Also, must be able to utilize an acetylene torch for cutting and brazing purposes.
Must have a strong background in a monthly preventive maintenance program either implemented by the company or by the candidate.
Must have a strong background in parts research and ultimately finding the best part at the best market rate.
Must have a strong background in keeping and maintaining a parts inventory.
Must have a strong background in engine troubleshooting.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair any aspect of the units cooling system, i.e., engine, transmission and hydraulic.
Must have a strong background in Direct Current electrical troubleshooting and repair.
A background in scheduling repairs and or management would be desirable.
