Project Manager – Injection Molding

Your role within the organization will be to manage complex new product development projects from concept through to commercialization including pricing, quoting, tooling and handing off to manufacturing. This is a highly visible role interacting with customers daily doing trials, troubleshooting, and being the Subject Matter Expert in new product development. You will work closely with all areas of the business like engineering, sales, quality and more. You will utilize Stage Gate Management Process to plan and deliver high quality solutions that meet customer expectations and deliver promised results.
To be successful in this critical role:
Bachelor’s degree – Engineering, Plastics, or similar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding processes and NPD.
Minimum 2 years of project management capabilities as a self-directed leader of cross functional teams capable of driving projects
This position will be based close to the Waukegan, IL and Kenosha, WI area. The position is local to several major cities like downtown Chicago, but for enough north but that it allows for a lower cost of living and great suburbs and school for growing families. This position will primarily be office based but could require some travel to customer sites, 15-30% of the time.
