Engineer - Research and Development

We're seeking an R&D Engineer to perform engineering design and concept development, with particular emphasis on fluid flow analysis.
What you Need:
* Specialization in Fluid Flow Dynamics and Analysis.
* background in Thermo-Dynamics.
* BS in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or similar degree required; advanced degree preferred.
* 5-10 years experience in an aero-dynamics field required.
* Experience with a lead aeronautical/aerospace industry employer preferred.
* Proficiency in fluid flow (theoretical and applied).
* Exposure to the full gambit of fluid dynamic properties.
* Proficiency in thermo-dynamics (theoretical and applied).
* Electro-mechanical aptitude in modifying and developing new machines.
* Proficiency with CAD (Solid Edge and SolidWorks preferred).
What you will be doing:
* Engineering Research and Design.
* Lead Business Critical Projects.
* Lead Role in Inventing New Technology.
* Perform project level R&D activities coupled with design and development.
* Focusing on fluid dynamics from subsonic to supersonic and thermodynamics.
* Render conceptual models and document designs via CAD and Solid Modeling.
* Complete theoretical and mathematical analysis and perform tests, including shock wave boundary interaction w/bleed and temperature gradient effect of flow.
* Execute conceptual development of new technology, products, processes, and applications requiring scientific creativity and ingenuity.
* Investigate new applications and conduct field tests of new concepts.
* Regularly interface with customers to develop business in new and existing markets and
assist them as needed, answering questions and providing support
