Job Description
Sr. Mechanical Packaging Engineer: Rapidly growing renewable manufacturer within the alternate energy business is searching for a talented professional who will a primary member of the design team developing Power Quality Electronic products. This company is a leader in alternate energy providing wind turbine designs and control systems. Key areas of responsibility include: Fluid and forced air thermal design, electronic subsystem and electrical system interconnections, enclosure layout and architecture, dynamic shock and vibration with respect to equipment weight, mounting and location, general chassis and cabinet layout, and test production fixtures. Knowledge of Solid Works, Flow Works, 2-D and 3-D CAD systems, finite element analysis, wiring and cable practices, NEMA classifications and a good background of general electronic packaging practices are key skills for this opportunity.
